Function

The function removes trailing spaces or other characters from the specified text string.

Declaration

TEXT %Trim(
   TEXT in string
   TEXT in charToRemove := " "
 )

Parameters

string	Text string.
charToRemove	A character that will be removed from the start and the end of the string (optional parameter).

Example

%Trim("  Text Some Text  ")      	; returns the value of "Text Some Text"
%Trim("..Text Some Text....", ".") 	; returns the value of "Text Some Text"
