Function

The function removes trailing spaces or other characters from the end of the specified text string.

Declaration

TEXT %RightTrim(
   TEXT in string
   TEXT in charToRemove := " "
)

Parameters

string	Text string.
charToRemove	A character that will be removed from the the end of the string (optional parameter).

Example

%RightTrim("  Text Some Text  ")        ; returns the value of "  Text Some Text"
%RightTrim("..Text Some Text....")      ; returns the value of "..Text Some Text"
