Process alarm states

Process alarms can occur in various states. An overview of these states is described in the following table.

Normal (NoAlarm)

The condition to raise the process alarm is not met.

Alarm

The condition to raise the process alarm has been met.

Acknowledged

The operator acknowledged the process alarm.

Blocked

The alarm is blocked by the operator, or the Silent parameter has been checked at the alarm configuration in the D2000 CNF process.

Unacknowledged

The condition to finish the alarm, for an acknowledgement-required status alarm, has been met before it is acknowledged.
