Extended palette can be assigned to graphic objects of the types Text, Bitmap and Button. Extended palette, in dependence on the status of the connected graphic object, allows to draw so called extended object (circle, rectangle, ellipse, etc.) around or over connected graphic object.

An extended palette is assigned with the graphic object by using the Connect object window - the tab Palettes - and clicking on the button.
